Professional Projects and Performances
We participate in a number of competitions and perform at many events throughout the year including The Australian Festival, Live Studio Performances and a slew of professional projects including stage and screen.
Team BAD had the pleasure of working with AFL Australia on their latest national campaign! Studio Director, Marianna Psaltis worked alongside Melbourne Based Company, Mass Motion Media in this fun campaign to encourage kids in sport for Superkick and AFL Play! The project includes videography, stills, many students, AFL stars and lots of fun in the mud! In this TVC, student, Hannah Wecker stars alongside AFL great Buddy Franklin and Brisbane based actor, Andrew Foley in AFL Superkick’s latest campaign! Remember, any Buddy can play! 🙌🎬
Studio Director, Marianna Psaltis together with alumni Ashlyn Tobin and Sarah Sprowles feature in this latest national campaign. The Optical Superstore team as well as Phyd Creative were exceptional to work with throughout the whole project. This tongue in cheek, comedic TVC is refreshing and inviting. We had a blast!

These are only a handful of amazing companies we have had the pleasure of working with over the years.
We have also completed projects for Queensland Tourism, worked with AFL Australia as well as Australian and overseas based media companies.

Awards and Achievements
We have received recognition from Trinity College London for our outstanding examination results and for well over a decade our students have consistently excelled in this space, topping Brisbane, Queensland and Australia.
Our students and graduates have successfully auditioned and gained entry to some of the most prestigious tertiary arts institutions such as NYU in New York, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, Griffith University Conservatorium in Brisbane and many more including Brent Street, VCA and QUT.
Industry
Our graduates are based locally in Australia and internationally in the USA and Europe and work across all areas of the performing arts including performing, writing, producing, broadcasting, journalism, photography, design, lighting and sound.
Some of our alumni are permanent working actors at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast and The Australian Outback Spectacular, holding leading roles in internationally acclaimed shows for over 5 years. They also often feature in Australian theatre, musicals, opera and jazz as well as TV commercials and advertising campaigns.
Philanthropy
Our philanthropic endeavours extend to supporting several charities that advocate for youth rights, including Plan Australia, World Vision and Save the Children. We also support The Smith Family, Fred Hollows Foundation, Grace Tame Foundation, Daniel Morcombe Foundation, UN Women, RSPCA Queensland among others and have produced content in support of these organisations.
Our Studio’s Success
We are a working studio with a proven track record of student success, inside the classroom and on the world stage. Our students are passionate, hard-working and devoted to their craft. The training they receive with us is unmatched due to the personalized approach, bespoke programs and industry guidance they receive. We a proud of all of our students and graduates for their continued contribution to the arts and are looking forward to the next creative endeavour!
