2026 CLASS INFORMATION

We welcome students of all ages and ability levels.  We are the most award-winning studio in Brisbane, with exceptional student and graduate results and a strong professional reputation spanning over 16 years.  We promote a creative and nurturing environment for young people.

GROUP ACTING CLASSES FRIDAY

Industry level training in all acting styles for stage and screen

  • A disciplined and performance focussed orientated class
  • Weekly 1.5 hour term-time acting classes on FRIDAY 3:50-5:20pm (Junior and Intermediate) and 6:40-8:10pm (Senior and Graduate)
  • Industry level training in acting, audition techniques, screen tests and presentation skills
  • Participation in Festivals, Competitions and Eisteddfods
  • Stage and screen technique training
  • Personal development
  • Advanced literature deconstruction
  • Additional complimentary masterclasses, extension lessons and forums in person and online
  • The studio produces performance work each year both live and filmed and acting class students have opportunities for professional work (stage and Screen)
  • Rehearsal and Performance Dates 2026: REHEARSAL DATES: Term 3 Sunday 26 July; Dress Rehearsal Sunday 2 August; PERFORMANCE DATES Thursday 6; Friday 7; Saturday 8; and Sunday 9 August.
  • End of year Digital Showcase to be screened Term 4 (Friday 4 December)
  • Invoices will be issued to parents each term via email. One-off fee of $195 per child applies in Term 2 for showcase levy (GST excluded)

COST: Cost is a per term fee, invoiced with GST at the following rates Junior (Prep to Year 6/11 Years): Term 1, 9 weeks $495; Term 2, 9 weeks $495; Term 3, 10 weeks $549; Term 4, 9 weeks $495.  Additional one-off Performance levy for each performer annually $195.

Intermediate-Graduate: Term 1, 9 weeks $519; Term 2, 9 weeks $519; Term 3, 10 weeks $575; Term 4, 9 weeks $519.  Additional one-off Performance levy for each performer annually $195.

GROUP DRAMA CLASSES SATURDAY

Confidence building, creativity and personal development

  • A class designed to develop confidence, creativity and personal growth
  • Weekly 1.5 hour term-time classes on SATURDAY 3:00-4:30pm
  • Performance skills for the stage and screen
  • Opportunities to participate in Festivals, Competitions and Eisteddfods
  • End of semester Showcase/Open Classroom to be performed at the end of Terms 2 and 4 (Saturday 20 June, Saturday 5 December respectively) Dates subject to change
  • No classes will be held on Friday 9 or Saturday 8 August due to Studio shows.

ACTING AND DRAMA EXPRESS CLASS TUESDAY

Learn about the discipline of acting and creativity and of drama

  • A class designed to teach pupils about the fundamentals of performance and foster creativity
  • Weekly 1 hour term-time classes on TUESDAY 3:45-4:45pm
  • Students focus on confidence building, improvisation and personal development
  • Performance skills for the stage and screen
  • Participation in Festivals, Competitions and Eisteddfods
  • End of semester Showcase/Open Classroom to be performed at the end of Terms 2 and 4 (Tuesday 16 June, Tuesday 24 November respectively)
  • Invoices are issued each term via email and must be paid in advance of the start date
  • 14 days (term-time) notice is required for cancellation of enrolment

THEATRE SPORTS AND COMEDY FRIDAY

Improvisation and Comedy Training 

  • Create characters and comedic moments in this fast-paced, hilarious class!
  • Weekly 1 hour term-time classes on FRIDAY 5:30-6:30pm
  • Perfect for students with busy schedules or for kids who just love acting and drama

  • Students focus on spontaneity, improvisation and comedy
  • Energetic, creative and fun for kids of all ages
  • No classes will be held on Friday 8 or Saturday 9 August due to Studio shows.
  • End of semester Showcase/Open Classroom to be performed at the end of Terms 2 and 4 (Friday 16 June, Friday 4 December respectively)

MOVIE AND AUDITION CLASS TUESDAY

For skills and technique training

  • Check out real world scripts and learn how to professionally audition for TV, films, commercials, theatre and more!
  • Weekly 1 hour term-time classes on TUESDAY 4:50-5:50pm
  • Audition skills and showreel content
  • Students will focus different genres and learn how to act for stage and screen
  • Content for digital showcases and showreels will be created each semester
  • Learn how to prepare for casting calls and auditions in person and digitally
  • Speaking and presentation skills
  • Upper primary, middle and senior years focused
  • Invoices are issued each term via email and must be paid in advance of the start date
  • 14 days (term-time) notice is required for cancellation of enrolment

PERFORMANCE TEAM

Professional performances and Industry Projects 

  • By invitation, audition and interview only
  • FRIDAY training 8:15-9:15pm for senior students, rehearsal and performance times subject to change depending on project offered
  • Students must be enrolled in at least one other class to be eligible to participate
  • Rehearsal and performance dates TBA
  • All ages eligible depending on the nature of the project
  • Projects range from theatrical productions, forums, workshops, script writing, TV/commercials and films
  • Performance levies and fees vary depending on the project

PRIVATE TUITION

Acting, Speech and Drama; Public Speaking/Debating; Curriculum English, Literature and Drama Tuition; Industry and Audition Training. 

  • Students prepare for auditions, festivals, eisteddfods, competitions, performances, exams and more
  • Stage and screen technique training
  • Private one-on-one or shared classes available
  • Performance exams and qualifications with Trinity College London
  • Curriculum English, Literature and Drama assessment preparation
  • Students learn public speaking, debating, communication and presentation skills
  • Tuition is available after school and evenings at negotiated times
  • All private tuition is led and conducted by Company Director and award-winning teacher, Marianna Psaltis
  • All educators are qualified, experienced and studio trained
  • Eisteddfod and exam fees are billed separately
  • Invoices will be issued each term via email and must be paid in advance of the start date

PRIVATE CLASS TIMES: Please nominate days and times suitable to you and we will try our best to accommodate your preference.

COST: Cost is a per term fee, invoiced with GST at the following rates per lesson determined by the number of weeks in the term or a one-off fee depending on enrolment: 30 minutes – $62.50; 45 minutes – $93.75; 60 minutes – $125; Tertiary Level Study 60 minutes ONLY – $149. (Invoices will be issued each term unless two weeks term-time written notice of cancellation is provided; GST added upon invoicing.)

DIPLOMAS

Tertiary qualifications in acting and performance.

  • Professional performance diploma examination training including theory and practice
  • Start anytime!
  • Students must be enrolled for at least a semester in order to qualify for examination
  • Stage and screen technique training
  • Private one-on-one or shared classes available
  • All diploma programs designed and led my Studio Director, Marianna Psaltis
  • Performance exams and qualifications with Trinity College London
  • Students learn analytical skills, theory and practice
  • Exam fees are billed separately
  • On camera digital exams including theory and practice
  • Students must be enrolled for at least a semester in order to qualify for examination
  • Invoices will be issued each term via email and must be paid in advance of the start date
  • 30 days (term-time) notice is required for cancellation of enrolment

COST: Cost is a per term fee at private tuition rates if taken as a solo session OR our shared term fees are as follows: Term 1, 9 weeks $895; Term 2, 9 weeks $895; Term 3, 10 weeks $984; Term 4, 9 weeks $895.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops are held over the school holidays and masterclasses are offered both in person and online. Additional dates and fees TBA.

 

June

Winter – Advanced Acting Workshop and Extension Masterclass, Sunday 14 June 11:00am-6:00pm, Middle, Senior Years, Tertiary.  Includes industry preparation, photography, show reel preparation and deconstruction of classic and contemporary literature.

 

September

Spring – Theatre Sports and Comedy Workshop Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 September 9:00am start to 4:00pm, All Ages.

December

Summer – Drama Workshop Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 December, from 8:30am drop off for 9:00am start to 4:00pm, Junior and Middle Years. Enrol for three days or one day at a time.
