Drama ClassesElizabeth Malcom wins the Marianna Psaltis Trophy at QUOTA 2026!

Congratulations to our magnificent Elizabeth!!! 🥳🙌🏆👏

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate Elizabeth Malcom, who was recently awarded the annual Marianna Psaltis Award for Outstanding Stage Presence at the 40th QUOTA Eisteddfod, presented by adjudicator Kitty Goodall. What a wonderful and well-deserved recognition of Elizabeth’s exceptional performance qualities! ⭐️

Elizabeth is an incredibly talented and engaging performer whose dedication, hard work, energy and commitment to character shine through every time she steps onto the stage. Her natural stage presence is something truly special — she has the wonderful ability to command an audience, connect with her character and bring a performance to life with confidence, authenticity and enthusiasm.

Her versatility as a performer is particularly exciting to watch. Whether she is embracing the humour and timing of a comedic character or tackling the language, complexity and theatricality of Shakespeare, Elizabeth brings an infectious energy and strong sense of character to every piece she performs. 🎭✨

Her achievements this year are a wonderful reflection of her continued growth and commitment to her craft. Elizabeth was a finalist in this year’s Brisbane season of Class Clowns, hosted by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and has also received medals and overall championship trophies at Brisbane Eisteddfods.

To now be recognised as the 2026 recipient of Studio Director Marianna Psaltis’ Award for Outstanding Stage Presence is a very special achievement indeed. 💐🏆

This award celebrates something that is so evident whenever Elizabeth performs — her ability to step onto the stage and truly own the moment. Her enthusiasm, confidence, personality and love of performance are infectious, and we are so excited to see where her theatrical journey continues to take her.

Elizabeth, we are so incredibly proud of you and all that you have achieved. Your hard work and passion are shining through, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.

A huge congratulations to you, Elizabeth! Keep shining, keep performing and keep bringing your wonderful energy to the stage! 🌟🎭

Well done!!! 🥳🙌🏆👏💐⭐️
